>> 🍂 Fall Clothing Check
Colorado mornings can start getting chilly! Please begin sending a light jacket or sweatshirt and to check that the extra clothing in their child’s cubby still fits. Just a friendly reminder to label clothes with you child’s first and last name!
Please note that if your kiddo is actively starting to walk, please ensure that they have closed-toed shoes for outdoor play!

As we begin to head into the cooler months, we encourage you to help us keep your little ones and teachers healthy by keeping your child home when they are feeling unwell and communicating any symptoms or illnesses with us.
Please make sure you are washing your child’s hands upon entering their classroom each morning. Starting the day with clean hands helps reduce the spread of germs while building healthy habits from an early age. 🧼💛
>> 📲 Keep Us in the Loop
We want to encourage all parents to communicate changes in sleep, feeding, medications, routines, or anything happening at home that may affect your child’s day with their teachers. Even small updates can help teachers better support your little one.
🏷️Friendly Labeling Reminder
Please make sure all of your child’s belongings are clearly labeled with their full first and last name! This includes, but is not limited to items such as:
• Bottles
• Food containers
• Water bottles/sippy cups
• Sleep sacks
• Extra clothes
• Jackets and personal belongings
Proper labeling helps us keep classrooms organized, ensures belongings are returned to the correct child. We highly recommend using sticker labels whenever possible, as Sharpie and Expo marker labels can fade or rub off throughout the day. 😊

🫖👵🏽 Grandparent’s Day Celebrations
Grandparents hold a special place in our hearts, and we love to celebrate them at The Barn! Join us on Friday, September 11th for our annual Tea Party extravaganza! We’ll enjoy tea and donuts, along with a special activity for grandparents and their little ones to complete together. It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down, make sweet memories, and celebrate the special bond between grandparents and their kiddos. 💕

🎺🥨🤎 Oktoberfest Chili Cook-off
Fall fun is heating up at The Barn! Join us for our annual Oktoberfest Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, September 19th from 3:30-7:00pm, where all the Barn families can gather for an evening of yummy food, drinks, and a little friendly competition! 🍁

⏰ Early Release Day is Coming up!
Just a reminder that our first early release day will be on Tuesday, September 15th. All students will need to be picked up by 4:00pm!

We are so excited to officially congratulate Ms. Crystal as she steps into her new role as Director of The Little Red Barn! 🐮✨
Moving forward, Ms. Crystal will be your primary point of contact for all Little Red Barn communication, including questions, concerns, scheduling, classroom needs, or anything else your family may need. Please reach out directly to her so she can best support you and your little one.
