Monthly Updates:
>> Winter Attire Reminder ❄️ : As the snow starts to come in, please make sure your infant has long sleeves, pants, and socks as we may still be enjoying outdoor play!
>> 🧼 Cold and Flu Season Reminder: Handwashing is Key💧- Just a friendly reminder wash your kiddos hands at morning drop-off to create a healthy classroom routine! Teachers will continue to implement handwashing throughout the day as well!
🖐🏼 Rule of thumb for Handwashing:
- For babies who can’t hold their heads up: Please use the soapy water spray bottle to gently clean their hands and dry with paper towel upon drop off.
- All other infants: Please assist kiddos using the handwashing sink to wash hands upon drop off.

>> Snowy Season Prep❄️: It’s about that time! Snow is on it’s way and as preparation, we wanted to share our inclement weather closure policy from our handbook:
8.2 | Inclement Weather Policy
To ensure the safety of our families and staff, The Little Red Barn follows the Jeffco Public School System for any school closure during inclement weather conditions. The Little Red Barn reserves the right to determine closures they deem necessary in the interest of child and staff safety. If the school closes, parents will be notified using the BrightWheel Application.
Below is our schedule for the following weather-related events*:
- For Jeffco Public School weather closures, The Little Red Barn will remain closed.
- For Jeffco Public School weather related delayed start, The Little Red Barn will open at 9:00 am.
- For Jeffco Public School weather related early release / cancelation of after-school programs, The Little Red Barn will close at 3:30 pm.

Gobble, Gobble! Our Thanksgiving Celebrations were full of laughter, fun treats, and sweet moments. The babies had a blast exploring sensory activities, tasting new flavors, and showing off their festive outfits.🥧🧡 Thank you to all the families who joined in and helped make our holiday celebration extra special!

🎁 Christmas Wishlist:
Looking for a simple way to spread some holiday cheer? Each classroom has put together a Wishlist of items that would help support everyday play and learning! 🧸🖍️ If you’d like to gift something to your infant’s classroom, feel free to choose an item off of LRB’s Christmas Tree – big or small, every donation means so much.❤️✨ Please bring these items in wrapped and the kiddos will be able to open them on Christmas Eve!
🧦Staff Stockings:
‘Tis the season of appreciation! This month, each teacher will have a stocking displayed in the hallway! Families are welcome to drop in a note, treat, hand-drawn picture from babies, or small gift for our infant teachers! These thoughtful surprises mean the world and remind teachers how loved they are! 💕

🎅🏽Christmas Spirit Week
Let’s celebrate the wonder of Christmas!! Spirit Week will be held the week of Christmas from Dec. 22nd-24th! 💙 We love to see the babies participate in spirit week!
- Monday – Merry Monday | Wear Red and Green and you best Christmas socks!
- Tuesday – Baby, It’s Cold Outside | Wear your favorite holiday sweater!
- Wednesday – ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas | Wear your coziest Christmas Pajamas for a visit from Santa!
🎉Classroom Christmas Parties
Each classroom will be celebrating with a visit from Santa from 9:30-10:30 am on Wednesday, December 24th!
