>> 🧼 Cold and Flu Season Reminder: Handwashing is Key💧- Just a friendly reminder wash your kiddos hands at morning drop-off to create a healthy classroom routine! Teachers will continue to implement handwashing throughout the day as well!

🖐🏼 Rule of thumb for Handwashing:

• For babies who can’t hold their heads up: Please use the soapy water spray bottle to gently clean their hands and dry with paper towel upon drop off.

• All other infants: Please assist kiddos using the handwashing sink to wash hands upon drop off.

🎶Up next: Music with Munchkins will be coming to The Little Red Barn on the second Thursday of every month starting on September 11th! Get ready for singing, dancing, and plenty of bubbles!!

The Barn has loved our partnership with Altitunes Music to bring joy of music to our kiddos! Altitunes offers fun and interactive classes for families in Lakewood, and we’d love for you to check them out!

>> We LOVE that our car seat storage area is being utilized by more parents! Just to avoid any confusion, please make sure there is a label with your child’s first and last name somewhere on the car seat that is visible!

>> We want to extend a HUGE thank you to all of you! Everyone has been doing a fabulous job following our parking signs! Just as a friendly reminder: please only use the two spots in front of our main entrance for drop off and pick-up and any of the spots next to our parking signs.

>> Can you believe it’s been almost a month since the Grand Opening of Little Red Barn! Thank you for your unwavering support throughout this process! Our first month has been a wonderful success 🎉We have been truly blessed with our Little Red Barn community and could not have done it without you!

>> As we’re still in the early stages of creating new routines, here are a few friendly reminders to help ensure a smooth drop-off experience:

* If your child’s bottle contains breast milk, please remember to put a breast milk band on the bottle before placing it in the fridge.

* Please ensure all bottles have a permanent label with your child’s first and last name. Additionally, use an Expo marker to write the date on the bottle.

* If you have any questions about appropriate food cut sizes, please refer to our choke-able food charts displayed in both classrooms. This will help us keep the babies safe during mealtimes.

>> It’s July, and summer is in full swing! Please check in with your child’s teacher to make sure they have a sun hat and appropriate clothing for outdoor play.
