Genna Hessler | Lead Infant Teacher
Hi! My name is Genna! I am from Ignacio, Colorado, a small town compared to Denver! I have two dogs, one named Princess and the other Bombon, along with a cat named Smokey. Besides babies and kids, animals are definitely one of my favorite things!
I have a 2-year-old who is my life, my world, and my everything. I have worked professionally in childcare for a year, and besides having my own child, I have also taken care of kids since a very young age. My daughter has definitely been a big part of why I work in childcare. She has helped me realize what my passion is in life.
When it comes to Early Childhood Education, I think it is very important to never underestimate anyone—not even a baby. They can all be so smart and teach even adults new things every day. The way they are so curious and able to learn from such a young age has always amazed me, and I think it is a beautiful thing.
I love spending any time I can with my daughter, and I am a very proud mom! I also love, love, love pink, so you will probably see me wearing it a lot!
I am excited to continue learning new things! When it comes to childcare, there is never a dull moment. There are always new ways and new ideas to help support children’s development. I can’t wait to help your children grow, and I know they will help me become a better person as well.
